Tvrz Šumburk stojí. Stála dřív, než jste přijeli. Bude stát, až odjedete. Po cyklu, jemuž říkáte rok, se za hradbami stane něco, co nemá přesné jméno.

Přijdou lidé. Rozdělají oheň. Vzdávají hold, po svém. Hrají, — a zdi to nesou dál, do skály, do kořenů, do mlhy nad hřebeny.

Hudební program

Bašta bude mít nově 2 scény – Pod Dubem a Za Dubem. Noci jsou na severu chladné, i proto bude scéna Za Dubem mnohem spíš než podiem velkým ohněm. Takovým, u kterého se vypráví příběhy, čte z knih a zahrají akustické projekty.

The fortress of Šumburk stands. It stood before you arrived. It will stand when you leave. Once in the cycle you call a year, something happens behind these walls that has no precise name.

People come. They light fires. They pay tribute, in their own way. They play — and the walls carry it further, into the rock, into the roots, into the mist above the ridgelines.

Line-up

Bašta will now feature two stages — Pod Dubem and Za Dubem. Nights are cold up north, which is one reason why the Za Dubem stage will be much more of a large bonfire than a traditional stage. It will be the kind of bonfire where stories are told, books are read aloud, and acoustic performances take place.
